Wet Railroad

Wet Railroad 2

Yesterday afternoon I wanted to take pictures from the Illinois side of the Mississippi, looking back at downtown and the Arch. It rained on and off all day. I got good and wet; the camera got damp back in the bag. Nothing left to do but shoot from the car window, looking down the railroad tracks of East. St. Louis.

I know that feeling sounds a bit like a typical Summer day in my area.

Well, it looks like, other than some wet equipment and a damp photographer, you got a stunning image of train cars. The price we pay.

It's drive-by shooting season in Phoenix now. It's way too hot for walking about taking photos so I start taking what I can from the car window. You can still get some great shots like this one you have today!

Black and white works well for a subject like this.

I agree with William, this a perfect composition for B&W Bob.. Do you have rain all the way through your summer? We're into winter and still dry, hopefully rain Wednesday/Thursday, fingers crossed!
